>>> We have a nearly 1 acre drylot at our place and the dividing cross fence
is 5 rail galvanized pipe set in concrete, no gaps at junctions with smooth
safe flush tops. It has welded "no climb" wire with welds every 12" to all
4 rails. The bottom rail is buried under ground with the "no climb" welded
on in the same manner.

If I were going to put in all new fence and money were no object, I'd
probably put in the no-climb horse wire all around - either the kind with
the 2x4" mesh or the "diamond" mesh - with a sight board on top. We have
some that is 20 years old - it's rusty now but still very strong. .

"The greatest enemy of the truth very often is not the lie- deliberate,
contrived and dishonest -- but the myth -- persistent, persuasive and
unrealistic."

"All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." ~ Arthur Schopenhauer
