You lived in Shelbyville, KY? When was that? We had an ice storm here either in 1992 or 1993. Ice covered tree limbs and made them so heavy they broke. I am told that it sounded as if there was a shooting war going on. (We were not here because until now we used to spend winters in Evanston.) There is a radio tower on our property. During that ice-storm ice formed around every piece of it and made it so heavy that it collapsed into itself. Unfortunately it was rebuilt right away. But this is something that does not happen every year. We also have snow now and then but it always melts in a day or so. And yes, we can ride year round. I wouldn't know about camping - we live out in nature so we don't need to do that. Anneliese
