How can you avoid yelling when you are in a big arena and you need to be heard? I did therapeutic ridng for 10 years in a Methodist children's home. Most of the children had been abused at one time or other but most could distinguish between angry yelling and the kind of yelling that is neccessary in order to be heard. Some could not make that distinction however, and would just become unraveled when yelled at, whatever the reason. I left that place and started a similar program at a state deaf school where yelling was never an issue, but I sure did wear out my fingers at times. Annie
