>>>> As I said, I really don't know much about PP - but I've owned a pretty
darned nice Arab for almost 20 years. I'm genuinely curious.

To give another clue about why I'm curious- the recent video of Nancy's
Tosca. I believe Tosca is 1/4 Peruvian? I just can't see any good reason
to breed an Icelandic to an Arab, not that I can think of anyway. They seem
too different to me, and all I can imagine is the incompatible body parts
that might recombine into some poor unfortunate foal. But it's not so much
of a stretch maybe to see someone breeding an Icelandic to a Peruvian (or
other gaited horse), or MAYBE even an Arab to a Peruvian, like you
said...I'm just trying to sort out what traits would be most important in
your assessment of compatiblity. This is only academic to me - I probably
won't be breeding many more horses (nor any redheaded mules) anyway, of any
kind, since I gelded Melnir. Anyway, I do like how Tosca looked in that
video.

First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." ~ Arthur Schopenhauer
