I believe Tosca is 1/4 Peruvian? >

Tosca is indeed 1/4 Peruvian. I just failed to fine the website for a breed
developed in Germany (I think) of horses with Icelandic/Peruvian bloodlines.
Niels West was apparently trying to do something similar. Although I
thought it was heartening that a man in his late 80's would decide to
develop a new strain of horses, I was not initially interested in buying a
crossbred horse.

Tosca, as an individual, looked like she might suit our purpose and we
decided to "forgive" her for her lack of registration papers.

contrived and dishonest -- but the myth -- persistent, persuasive and
unrealistic."

"All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." ~ Arthur Schopenhauer
