I believe Tosca is 1/4 Peruvian? > Tosca is indeed 1/4 Peruvian. I just failed to fine the website for a breed developed in Germany (I think) of horses with Icelandic/Peruvian bloodlines. Niels West was apparently trying to do something similar. Although I thought it was heartening that a man in his late 80's would decide to develop a new strain of horses, I was not initially interested in buying a crossbred horse.
Tosca, as an individual, looked like she might suit our purpose and we decided to "forgive" her for her lack of registration papers.
