When my horse Willie/Segull went into training a couple of months ago  he 
decided to buck a few times with a rider. She said it was so smooth and  little 
it was part of his gaits. haha His canter is very smooth. Short and heavy  
bodied might make a big difference in what they can get off the ground  
efficiently, he was just feeling good. His buck is very small and uneventful on 
 the 
loose when he plays. Now Assa can get herself off the ground, but she is ten
