We had a neighbor for a while who owned a paint mare named Savannah Doll (Dahl?) that had been a Breyer horse model and a Tournament of Roses Parade horse. She did what the owner called an Indian shuffle. I rode with her a few times. It was definitely a soft gait, but I don't have a clue where it would fall on the spectrum of gaits - lateral side maybe?
