My friend Bev, who learned to ride in England and claims she developed her unusual dismount style because her feet were always so cold, siwngs her right leg to the front, over the horse's neck and then jumps off with both feet hitting the ground together on the left side. Our daughter Abby has begun to use the same dismount, but I can't get up the nerve to try it. Maybe on the shorter Tosca. I have visions of staggering head long forward across the barnyard. Nancy
