I bet that clipping her all over will go a long way to fixing the 
problem - or will entirely fix it.  Drifa was standing out in that 
pasture the other day and sweating.  I clipped her over the weekend (I 
blanket her at night) and she is very happy now (except that she is 
embarassed about the lousy job that I did). I am Northern CA.
