I gave her a 10 day course of it, in bucket feeds, twice a day. She perked up almost immediately, and has been a little firebomb ever since. She had just the one course, almost 2 years ago - which was roughly 8 months after she was imported. It was very obvious when she needed it - she looked very down, head low, quite miserable, lots of sleeping. Temperature/respiration/etc were all normal, but the iron tonic did the trick.
