Buckskin and Dun are two completely separate genes.

I am here to learn, not argue. And since I'm never a breeder, I have fallen
behind on the "new" ability to determine color by DNA/genetic testing and
I confess when my friend Amber gets off on color testing, I blank out.

I'm having trouble even framing the question to ask what I want to learn.
Genetically, are the horse with a yellow ish dun coat, dorsal stripes, same
color mane and tail; a horse with a reddish dun coat, red mane and tail,
dorsal stripes; and a horse with a dun colored coat with black mane, tail
and points each different?

I still may not have the question worded right. Could a horse present as
yellow dun , red dun or the old timey western buckskin, and have a
different genetic label?
