In Iceland there are no "elimination" from breeding you are allowed to use what
every stallion you want evaluated or not and still get a offspring you can
registrated . It´s upp to the mare owner to choose it´s breeding.

In sweden on the other hand you if you use an unevulated stallion the offspring
get´s in the B-book and it coast plenty more money.

As alway´s it´s up to the mare owner´s what offspring´s do he/she want to
raise, what do they want their breeding name to stand for?

As I´m a breeder I look to all aspects also color in that way that Fanndis
my cremello/perlino mare for an example I try to breed to chesnut or Bay
stallions (last year thou it was a blackpinto going grey stallion)

Muska my roan mare will not be breed to a grey stallion .........

and yes I breed 1 mare to a "color" stallion a silver dapple Glymur fra
Innri-skeljabrekka a horse with foremost great mind ,gives great gaited
offspring
that he was the one of the highest 5 yo for a few years ago also count a lot
and he is not very related to the breeding pool today.
the bad thing with him is he´s sinew´s I admit that .........

I think he is one of the better options in many way´s I will use him again this
summer and in 2009 he will hopefully be here .........
