Well Janice, if my horse would stay the same color season to season it would sure make it easier! In spring she looks faded bay dunn with a really clear dorsal stripe, in summer she turns black with no markings, then in autumn she gets little brown flecks in her coat and mane so she almost looks like someone tried to erase the black but just smudged it all over her body, then in winter she gets black again but has the cutest brown liner around the outside edge of her ears. Looking back through her paperwork, various vets have written her up as black, brown,and brown dunn depending on the season they saw her. She was thought to be blue dunn when born but obviously not! I think its pretty interesting, she is like living art. Ashley
