Hi Wanda,
Our doggie babies are on parallel life paths. . . Lucy goes in Monday
for her surgery. She's just past 6 months. I too, was worried about her
size. She *might be* five pounds now. At her last vet appt. for shots,
at four months, she was 3.3 lbs. She is the littlest farm dog in the
world I think. (She does chores with me twice a day, rides on the
4-wheeler, herds the barn cats and enjoys eating any and all barnyard poo
she comes across - Ahem). Anyway, the vet reassured me the little dogs
don't have any more problems with the surgery than the big ones.
Still. . . it's my baby! I will be glad when it's over and she's back
home.
