Well, I had a lesson with Rebel a week ago that helped us tremendously! Of course the problem was all mine! I was stopping the forward cue after he picked up a faster walk. I didn't even BELIEVE he would make it to a trot! Now, literally overnight, all I have to do is raise my energy and smooch and he mooves into a trot, effortlessly! We've even cantered a little bit! The instructor is the best horse trainer in my area. She's studied with the best of the best in natural horsemanship and competes in 3 day eventing. The lesson was 60 bucks but well worth it. It's the first lesson I've had with Rebel. It's amazing what a little help can do, clear up a year of confusion in one hour!
