The Icelandic gal made a couple of interesting comments:

"she has a beautiful mane that is just as thick on both sides (iceys gets 
points for mane and tail, since it is part of the breed standards, and one 
of the first "problems" that show up in line breeding is lack of length in 
the mane) "

"BRED to be ridden with contact... the icey is bred for contact riding."

"they are supposed to carry their heads high and proud and that is necessary 
to get a good collection from the hind, through the back and all the way 
into the shoulders."

"and yes, we use weights on our horses. the heaviest allowed is 230 gramms"
