Ok, I changed out the “Allow from all” to “Require all granted” and now I get this:
PDO Connection Error: SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'icinga_web'@'localhost' (using password: YES) I have the password set in the /etc/icinga-web/conf.d/databases.xml file, but the section appears commented out, or maybe its just me. I have tried to manually connect to the db using those credentials successfully. (both icinga and icinga_web) See Ya’ Howard Coles Jr. From: icinga-users [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Michael Friedrich Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2014 10:43 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [icinga-users] 403 Forbidden on New icinga2 and web install Am 30.07.2014 16:33, schrieb Howard Coles: The install machine is RHEL7, and all the rpms are from the icinga epel repo. I followed the docs as completely as possible only changing db passwords. I cannot find any instructions for how to allow remote access to the web interface, so I’m assuming that’s setup by default. The server has little to know gui, and no browsers installed, and any help resolving this would be appreciated. Forgive me if this is a duplicate, I don’t think any previous messages made it through. RPM Packages require additional steps after the installation. Please consult the README.RHEL shipped with the icinga-web package (located in /usr/share/doc/icinga-web/ or similar) In your case, it's highly likely that the new apache config required httpd to be restarted. Other than that it be related to Apache 2.4 and 'Require all granted' directive. I had a similar issue on Fedora and the in-development Web 2. https://dev.icinga.org/projects/icingaweb2/repository/revisions/da784456868b35bc0d1302f92852c8d92af0ad1e<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v1/url?u=https://dev.icinga.org/projects/icingaweb2/repository/revisions/da784456868b35bc0d1302f92852c8d92af0ad1e&k=yCD%2FdAAFSkOIOxM7DZpUFA%3D%3D%0A&r=dT%2BSIRt9rPOY8Db9QKi74AqOfvv9gzSNVZh37iBz%2Fwk%3D%0A&m=hv0N0XhVPDknsceK6R4F537xdykEcpaZBqonG9n%2B5FU%3D%0A&s=2ede6a32abe810d652bcf27e6055d61024c8dc5dd343a4935df2772f413cb9ff> kind regards, Michael -- Michael Friedrich, DI (FH) Application Developer NETWAYS GmbH | Deutschherrnstr. 15-19 | D-90429 Nuernberg Tel: +49 911 92885-0 | Fax: +49 911 92885-77 GF: Julian Hein, Bernd Erk | AG Nuernberg HRB18461 http://www.netways.de | [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> ** Open Source Backup Conference 2014 - September - osbconf.org ** ** Puppet Camp Duesseldorf 2014 - Oktober - netways.de/puppetcamp ** ** OSMC 2014 - November - netways.de/osmc ** ** OpenNebula Conf 2014 - Dezember - opennebulaconf.com **
