No, they are not suckers. They simply udnerstand (I guess) that a
succefull company needs to develop long lasting relationship with their
customers in order to succeed. 

The people who you think will take advantage of them are most likely not
going to be long range paying customers anyway. Better invest in
treating your customers right then fighting those aren't going to be one
anyways.

Yes, there some other comapnies that don't realise this, or rather, they
probably do but don't care because the stock market looks only on the
(very) short range performace. I'm probably native but I think the
bubble burst and series of economic scandals which have been exposed as
of late might be the begining of a change in this area. Maybe... ;-)
