Hi....!!!!

      It seems that you have deleted the linux grub boot loader by
fixing  fixmbr.The error :

     Grub error 117 is b'coz of this.

 One of the possible way is to use(run) your ubuntu live cd  to access
your linux partition and recover your data to an  external drive.I
hope this method will easily recover your precious data on linux
partition.
