perhaps why i ended up in CS was due to my childhood ,too .my mother taught me numbers in a very clear manner ,so i was very interested in combatronics .
besides ,thanks to my school for teaching me programming in 3rd and 4th class ( though it was QUICK BASIC or BASIC ) ,so i had programming as very natural to me .and then in 11th and 12th too i had good computer teachers ,who encouraged me ,both towards CS and engineering . talking about DOORDARSHAN ,it's a great channel ,we should study it under management ,how they had manged to interest every citizen ,how they plan to show whole INDIA and connect them ,it's program are damn good [ initially in childhood i did not had cable TV and used to complan my parents about it ,but now i had realized that DD is not like any other commercial channels showing stupidous serials ,DD shows quality serials ,which show represent INDIA , they show serials for mass and not paricularly for only some area ,they connect us from hectic schedules to our REAL INDIA ,perhaps one may argue that some things are outdated ,but one may say that in view that we are getting it done eg IODINE namak ad - one may say that IODINE wala namk ton har jagah milta hai ,but understand we live in urban areas ,so we say this .] DD deserves to be a management subject (connecting INDIA),perhaps a generic statement . please send your views too On Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 8:11 PM, narendra sisodiya < [email protected]> wrote: > On Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 3:22 AM, ishan chhabra <[email protected]>wrote: > >> very well said narendra sir, couldnt have been better. >> However, there is something i would like to add. >> *I agree when u say that it is all about self learning, but we all need a >> spark that gives us the motivation to think..* > > Let our children explore better this world by good books.
