I was working on a 512MB + Ubuntu (latest version Intrepid i guess) ,and i still had that installed on my other computer . i just felt the dual way . so iam not using Ubuntu nowadays because it gets hanged so often ,instead iam waiting for next visit to Nehru place for 1 GB RAM .Also dearest members i had tried some flavours like Kolibri os ,DSL,PUPPY LINUX ,REDHAT ,UBUNTU(Using now),and some other ,but i had realised that i wanted to work on a major and stable ,and hence currently with Ubuntu instead of other small versions .
Now i had download Cygwin as a IDE ,but due to my low Ram and etc problems the download could not be completed ,and i could not even download Netbeans inspite of numerous attempts ,safely i had downloaded Visual C++ and i had also learned that it is very popular so i wanted to use it .i now have 2 questons :- 1.) Can anybody guide a little bit about Visual C++ 2.) Also i want to buy a laptop (or PC) ,but i am waiting for technology advances with same cost ,i.e. iam waiting for the next wave of technology to be incorporated (nowadays nearly all vendors give the same thing at nearly same price ) ,so should i wait sometime more and till when can i expect the next wave of prices.
