Personally I am all for throwing out the card....but Supratik, whose m/c it
sits on is a student, and unlike those of the ILUG-Cal folks who are
employed, has to make the best of the situation....due to the obvious
reason of limited finances... thats why I asked if anyone has been able to
make SiS6215C work at more than 256 colors. Seems like he has to do what
you all suggest .. :-)

Throw that card out.Some of them have problems going beyond 60 hz refresh
rate as well! Exchange with the S3 trio64+ , difference was Rs 75 1 1/2
months back when a friend & I got rid of it.
