I Agree that the article is an uninformed bit of junk as far as benchmarking
is concerned as even sketchy statistics have not been given making it( the
article) worthless in it's present form. However , I draw the line at
reputable guys like ZDNET , the publishers of PC Magazine pasting Linux as
a myth on their front page .
Perhaps I was hasty before as I just saw red! However, does Linux have any
IRC Server ?Russell, can You point me to the appropriate docs ,if one does
not exist.At least I shall start work on making one, albeit a simple one
under GPL. To my mind , that would be a constructive way of replying to
criticism.
