But what about me - the ordinary non-techie Suresh Das :)
Going over to any of the BSDs or anything similar will be like going to
the extreme end of it.
Power --> infinity
Ordinary user going crazy figuring out things --> infinity
Gnome offers a nice balane for a normal user, and that's why I like it
The problem with KDE is that has too many bells and whistles for doing
anything useful - it almost distracts u - blinking pointers, flashing
pointers, liquid like interface ---- arrgh!! it almost makes u irritated
to the nth degree (n!=0)

Sub : Recovering from corrupt LILO on MBR            LOST #259

In case of corrupt LILO at MBR, it is merely a matter of boot-
ing from the boot disk created during installation.  Once into
the system check your /etc/lilo.conf. Then as root run:
#lilo -v
