umm should include code on a separate disk, but no need to put it in the

check for installed or newer dependencies already installed?

I prefer Gnome 1.4, haven't really found out about Gnome 2 leave alone
use it, but i feel that gnome gives u options, which kde doesn't.

How about something like custom compiled kernels during installations?
