Hi Soumya I recently tried a few 15" one being sold by few vendors for around 3.3-3.5k to 4k Samsung fared better then LG. Cudnt recall there was another (non-famous) one, which seemed to be much better than it.
As re: performances amongst new monitors (specially the TFT ones), the philips 17" scores greatly over all its others, namley, LG, Samsung and Sony. Not to forget the new 15" I saw at Vinod's place with the new iMAC. Re: the video card, I just missed a GForce 4 MX (ASUS). The guy had once piece only and was selling for 9k :( Rajesh ----- Original Message ----- From: "Soumyadip Modak" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Linux User Group" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, July 21, 2002 9:27 AM Subject: [ilug-cal] Need ur opinions re:hardware > We still have a monochrome monitor.
