offffff course. I guess its still helluva time to get LCD's at this price. I
replaces all my mono monitors with 15" CRT colors. (digital though)

Yep LCD. Couldnt recall. NK told me about it, when he visted HK recently and
show all brands monitor displayed together, and he cud see Philips standing
out amongst them. and I can surely bet on NK's suggestion :)

yep should be around 700 USD. THough it depends from where one buys. I saw a
deal recently for a really small (almost like ur Strapper) size IBM Netvista
P-4, 1Gig ram, with 17" TFT LCD hanging on a hinge (almost like the iMAC). I
saw this deal for USD 999. Abs not a bad deal. Yes it was for new pcs, with
usual pre-loaded softwares. If I can recall correctly there was an option
for pre-loaded Linux too. :)
