Hi ,
Acctually what you want ??? Do you want to conncet to MySQL & Adabase using
some application software or do you want to write a program which will
connect to database.

You can easily connnect to MySQL since it has a very good API for C . So you
have to manually add these codes to the sources generated by glade.

I generally do not use GTK as my GUI tool kit since it is in C , but checked
the glade provided with my Mandrake 9.0 it has widgets for database
connectivity you should them.

Also you can connec to Adabase and MySQL using Open Office. just run the open
office writer then select tools from menu & then select datasource you can
access various kindes of data source (it some what works like access).

For tcltk I never tried it so sorry. But you can search the web for it.
