please refer to my previous mail.But,if you are suggesting a model
soln. you may easily shift to Qt and mysql/postgreSql combination.
If you install Mandrake 9.0 /Redhat 8.0 you can easily do the
database connectivity from the Qt Designer itself.But,for glade
you have to use gnome-db.

you can search freshmeat for many appz on database connectivity and see the code :)
