I have installed it and using it for about 2 weeks: I would say its fairly stable. It must be based on RH9 or Fedora 1.
Here are my experiences:
Kernel 2.4 and 2.6 detects different LAN cards. So everytime kudzu asks that a new device is added and an old device is removed. However if I chose "do nothing" then it works alright.
2.4 could detect my soundcard but not 2.4 (Basically the module forte.o is not available under /lib/modules/2.6)
For package installation, redhat-config-packages didnt work. It keeps on asking for CD-1 in spite of CD-1 being present in the drive. However "autorun" does work from /mnt/cdrom/autorun
The init scripts that handle both kernels are interesting.
There are some silly renamings like the sun java rpm is renamed as PCQuest java or something like that.
No other major problems yet.

Speaking of PCQLinux2004, has anyone on this list
tried it out yet? What are the uppers and downers on this one?
(I remember badly burning my fingers -- that is,
having my hard disks wiped clean -- when I tried to install PCQLinux 7.0.
Since then I've been wary of PCQ Linux.)
