Has anyone any definite info. on possible tariff plans ?? Please drop me
a line if anyone managed to extricate data from their Customer Service
guys, looks like it's going to be a close race with around 7000
connections until April 2005 :(

Rs.500 p.m. likely to go down later.

Few points to consider here :-

1. If the speed is better than DIAS, it will be costlier than DIAS i.e. more than Rs.850 p.m. for sure.

2. This Broadband is Asymetric i.e. the upload speed or website hosting, VPN tunneling etc. would be a bad choice on such ADSL options.

3. Presently the DIAS is numbering around a 4000+ with lines to spare in lot of areas. So I believe, there will be no rush.

4. The equipment is from UT Starcom, which has a reputation for offering very unstable products.

with Regards,
ASHWIN
