its faster AND cheaper than dias .. strange .. but good for us

besides being cheaper on a per mb basis and per month basis there is an imp
point of being able to get done in a few minutes those things which earlier
took an hour .. THAT's a biiiig difference ..

i would tend to think that dias slowdown was a result of bsnl's broadband
annoucement .. faster, cheaper .. if they come out with their cell-One based
'faster' connectivity (even if a bit more costly than landline based
broadband) .. then broadband population will again be stagnent .. MOST
people use interneting for email (web based) .. or a bit of surfing .. even
dias is good enough for that
