pk 2 pk,

sigh ... the sheer apathy!!! how do ppl think most folx in the FLOSS
sector work? surprise!! inspite all that has been said by ESR in his
catb book (Catherdral and the Bazaar) about how to make money from OSS
most FLOSS folx still spend from their own pockets ... while
maintaining a job else where for their bread and butter ... luckier
folx get paid for their FLOSS work by people who stand to gain from
their work ... which they are giving away for free ... its all
voluntary give and take ... Linus might be extremely famous but he is
not filthy rich like bill gates ... but still in todays world Linus'
name commends much much more awe and respect than bill gates ...
except in India ... where ppl are still eyeing only the big bucks ...
well philosphies are for those who dont have an empty stomach ... i
for one have a grumbling stomach right now and am signing off to go
cook my dinner! ;-)
