Hi All I don't know whether this is OT or not. I ask for Indra's pardon in case this happens to be OT. To get to the point, there is an advertisement in today's Telegraph for an Acer Laptop, pretty cheap, one must say.
In the fine print the ad says, and I quote: "Sales tax and levies extra. Freight, handling and carrybag charges Rs.2000 extra. Rs.3,000 for North-East. +Limited stocks. The Linux that is pre-loaded is a free version and would have limited functionality until another operating system is installed. Now, for the death of me I cannot understand why "The Linux" that is preinstalled would have limited functionality? Let's get to the bottom of the matter and if need be we MUST sue these guys for spreading disinformation regarding an OS that we all use and use it without being limited in any functionality.
