I was just wondering whose functionality is limited.
If there is a comparison of machines
that comes preloaded with XP and Linux,

then :

XP: No rich word precessor
Linux: Coice of abi/koffice/ooo/etc

XP: No spreadsheet
Linux: ooo/koffice/etc

XP: No presentation
Linux: ooo/koffice/etc

XP: No database
Linux: mysql/postgres/etc

XP: No photo editor
Linux: gimp

XP: Personal mail client (outlook express is too bad)
Linux: evolution, mozilla, etc.

XP: Only few games (no archade)
Linux: hundreds of games

XP: Only one desktop
Linux: many desktops

XP: No language compiler
Linux: C, C++ perl, python, etc

XP: No IDE
Linux: Qt designer, etc.

And I can go on and on.

But I think the point ACER try to mention is
third party drivers and software conpatibility.
May be they have put it in wrong language.
