(following input by me may pl. be deleted after reading .. and THEN continue
with your acer elaborater)
the 1st part of the subject line is : i changed the subject line !
the 2nd part of the subject line is : Eureka ! i KNOW why subject lines
don't get changed
It is not our fault .. god made US that-a-way .. and People made 'Reply'
button that-a-way ! Whenever one clicks the reply button .. a new panel
opens up (why a window ? its not even a pane ! maybe a 'pain' .. but a
widower .. err .. windower too doesn't k now the reason for the naming ..
and now its horns .. and long horns .. ~:-{ .. back to topic ..)
The CURSOR is NOT in the subject line .. and by the time one has completed
responding by furiously pounding the keys on the board .. he's sooo worked
up that to expect him to remember to hit the 'shift-tab' or to go to the
subject line by navigating the disobedient cursor to that place and THEN
having to position with the precision of threading a needle .. to the
naaaroow
verticle pixels between the beginning of the 'subject' input space and the
beginning of the subject line .. uuff! .. absurd ..
so one does the natural .. leave it to others .. to figure out what could be
'new' in the msg which has an 'old' subject line .. legacy of the wise ..
many wise'es .. before him have left untouched
moral : be normal
dictat : do it ! change the subject line .. or else .... i will ;-)
plea : o ! ye programmers of the world unite .. and spare us the torture of
continuing accepting the 'accepted'.. subjectline is NOT the subject of the
msg
rqst : this is not a thread .. but musing .. amusing or refusing .. your
choice .. DON'T respond .. my request
..p i I
