        maybe you have a onboard graphics adapter and in the bios settings the
memory share for this device has been set at < 8MB. xserver needs at
least 8MB to work correctly. please keep in mind that fedora core-3 has

        it is not wise to use disk partitioning tools supplied with linux
distribution setup systems on harddisks partitioned by microsoft's
partitioning tools specially the disk management tool of win2k/xp. use a
good tool like BootItNG (share) to partition the disk as per your
requirement beforehand. then install all windows (if you feel
suffocated) and next the door (linux).

        if your ISP uses PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet) then it is available out of
the box. if they use cyberoam protocol then you have to download the
software needed for it. this list has enough wealth of information
regarding this. ask other members about this.
