definitely all newer AMD supporting MB supports UDMA, hence I also have UDMA
supports in my mobo. my compiled kernel 2.6.10 doesn't support UDMA,( though I
have enabled advanced IDE /ATA-EIDE features during compilation ). today I have
installed 2.6.8-K7 kernel-image from sarge and bingo ! now I have UDMA too -;)

$] hdparm -td /dev/hda

/dev/hda:
 using_dma    =  1 (on)
 Timing buffered disk reads:  158 MB in  3.04 seconds =  52.05 MB/sec
