>>Visual similarity to Stallman shouldn't be one of them (Remember RMS has done
>>a lot of contribution<<
I would like to clarify one point. RMS is not just a contributor to
the Free Software movement. He initiated the GNU project as well as
the FSF. And he inspired each and everyone of us to use, spread and
contribute to Free software. If RMS himself had thought about it only
as an alternative technology to proprietary software, the FSF wouldnt
be in its present form now. He is not just a techie. He thought about
the ethical side of free software. He wrote the GPL and thus he also
thought about the legal side of free software. He works not just as a
techie but also works for the ethical and legal side of free software.
If it was not the GPL we still wouldnt be using the GNU/Linux
platform. It wouldnt have been free if not for the ethical issues
considered by great people like RMS.
We as a community try to do our part and its just a local community,
part of the whole free software movement.

>>I demand you rename it to "Freedom Movement".<<<
And by renaming it to Freedom Movement, is there any law that it
shouldnt include software/technology. So whatever you rename it to
ultimatley it goes side by side, Free software is a way of ethical
living in the technology world.

@Kenny
>>Anyways, free software movement has to be about software.<<
Yea ofcourse its about software. Nobody says software/technology is
not involved. But what is repeatedly said here is that it is not just
a technology. Its about the freedoms that come with it. And if
proprietary giants are releasing it as free software, its most
welcome(good step). So friend, technology basically remains the same
whether its proprietary or free software, technology was there even
before the Free software movement started. But what we stand for is
the freedoms that should be given to developers and users. So making
it more and more clear its about the "freedoms that one should be
given in the technology world". Of course there is more space for
development of better technology in free software since each and
everyone of us have the freedom to work on it.
