I think a change will be good.... Lets make it a gradual one. I suggest we
could use mailman and continue using google groups as an archive of the mail
list for a while. Later we could completly move onto mailman.

The first post tells about installing a forum or so. I don't think that it
will click. Many people who replies through mail are reluctant to login to
forums and post. Also, it takes time to find out posts and you won't be
receiving the follow up effectively.
