As Santhosh has said there is an option to '*Generate package download script*' in the '*File*' menu inside Synaptic. This outputs a script file which downloads all the marked packages using wget. I have used this a couple of times and it works. As Dennis has pointed out above *apt-get install --print-uris [package names]* will give you the path to the packages.
