Hello Narendra, My aim is not to create yet another 'ubuntu clone' by having gpl-only packages. Instead, I want to provide users with a more comprehensive one which provides out-of-the box functionality.
And about the name of FreedomX, I see Freedom not as a Symbol of Free Software, but as something more. I consider freedom as that which does not restrict/limit, and as one which opens up boundaries. One which gives the user freedom to choose amongst a wider range of packages. I consider this to be a wider perspective. You might be able to install whatever packages you want in addition to the base install, but there are ppl who have no idea about what that means. Anyway, you yourself could additionally install these codecs over a base install. I just want to make that a bit more easier. Consider this just as another alternative to LinuxMint.
