I dont need all those debian security patches and it somehow gives me a happy feelin when I run "bleeding edge" stuff instead of old stuff with bleeding edge patches. And for rolling releases. 1) You can try debian sid (works like a rolling release :P) and 2) Archlinux. And there are semi-rolling releases like foresight.
