Folks,
rather than get too rigid, let people use indian languages also..
ignore them if you do not understand.
a small price to pay for inclusiveness...
having one language does not necessarily lead to better understanding or
happiness.
also many times, it is this reaction that is the desired outcome of the
initiation, so don't let it go....

should people need to stick to or need to also post in another language.
given that the members of the LUG speak 15-20 languages, this is not a viable
option. That is why in India we have english as the link language and
generally we are polite enough to speak in english when members of other
language groups are present. In my opinion, not to do is is plain rude.
