It is quite disheartening when people compare closed source
proprietary products with Free/Open Source Software products, where
the fundamental principle or ideology that we believe in sharing of
source code, and knowledge doesn't exist in the former, and there is
_no_ room for comparison at all!

You can never compare a corrupt politician (who hides everything), and
an honest (gives the source) public servant.

Even worse, is when newbies ask for 'alternatives/equivalents' in the
F/OSS world, than appreciate the freedom of the source code, and what
they can do with it. Sad, but true.
