Its really frustrating when my browser is redirected to this crap webpage.
http://www.motive.bsnl.co.in/
Its happening frequently to me in the last few months even after
changing my nameservers to openDNS. This page is coming most of the time
when I first open my browser.
Did anyone know about this site. Its asking to download a self care
software. You can see the details about the software in the page. Did
anyone installed this software? what it is doing in your system?
My question is, how come this is possible?. Where(or at what level) the
redirection takes place? I don't think its happening with DNS. Also I
don't thing only google ips are redirected. I saw this redirection not
only with google sites, but with other sites also. And finally, what is
the real motive for bsnl to ask the customers to install this self care
software?
