We need physical volunteers for motivating > students/audience. Will you please come forward? Thats the main point. it looks like there is no one enough motivated from the audience ! Does it mean I am doing great service if I have organized more FOSS events than those 75 events in 5 years ? thats a bizzare comparison. I am not in india right now. so I am unable to take part in these activities. I am trying to understand what and how people are trying to spread FOSS usage these days as i see many labsetups in engg colleges popping up often in the mailing list. It would be very helpful if the event organizers can tell what they have done and the students/audience feedback rather than flashing number of events organized and thinking themselves, that itself is a great service. this is not a true spirit. Infact it reminds me of the number of tv sets given away by the government; probably for people's upliftment ! All I say is that Its more imp to see how many people are still using FOSS for their work ; number of events have no meaning. I feel ur not answering these questions in the labsetups.
