btw. I have used cobbler [ https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/ ] in a production environment ( 300+ Servers) . Please have a look at the screenshot. https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/attachment/wiki/CobblerWebInterface/Screenshot.png. This will enable Lab admin to easily manage workstation imaging, re-imaging , adding new Kickstart file or editing kickstart file or using specific kickstart file for specific workstation or server and it's limit less. With combination of cobbler and func [ https://fedorahosted.org/func/ ], you can maintain unified packages,users and what not. Please have a look at the FAQ in https://fedorahosted.org/func/wiki/FrequentlyAskedQuestionsAndTroubleshooting. Both are fedora projects.
