The software is free but I think, services should be paid. colleges often spend thousands and lakhs of rupees on installing windows and their servicemen. why cant they pay some amount for the service in installing FOSS ? This would also encourage volunteers to sustain the enthusiasm. Isnt it the the colleges are taking advantage of free service ? generally I have seen people take more care of things(services or goods) which are bought. freebies are always looked down over their counterparts.
