And what kind of block you have for not agreeing to logo by sponsor? Or ethic in making the site without announcing it on the LUG or taking general consensus? Work with peers and respect them equally to do the right thing.

Would the creative content have been any different in that case? And get the sarcasm out. BS is your tone of implying that the site suffers because you are acknowledging some one who is appreciative of FLOSS and has been actively promoting it. The sponsor in no way put any restriction on what you were doing or how. Inclusion of logo link at the bottom of the page would not have taken the content or the intent anywhere else. In the realm of imagination here since I never saw the non-announced site, but do you mean to say that in all the content of the proposed site nowhere any person has been acknowledged in any way including you? Or will never be? How will that promote FLOSS if newbies or visitors have no inkling what to do next? How to seek help? How to contribute? I found the same attitude repulsive when Mary suggested giving a acknowledgement to Srijan for giving the LUG a switch on the events list. Can go on but the topic is QED as far as I am concerned. -- Sudev Barar Learning Linux _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
